Glenluce Spring
Glenluce Mineral Spring, positioned along the idyllic Loddon River beckons visitors seeking a peaceful retreat. Only a short drive from Castlemaine, this hidden gem within the Castlemaine Heritage National Park boasts remarkable rock formations tracing the meandering creek. Here, a rustic wooden picnic table and a pump provide access to the crisp mineral water, inviting visitors to enjoy its’ refreshing taste.
The Glenluce mineral spring bore is 34m deep and was sunk in 2013. Around 30 - 50m upstream (south) of the spring natural discharges of mineral water seep into the river and can be seen as an orange-brown stain on the river pebbles and rocks.
